Getting to it

For years and years, I have thought about researching my family history as it is a bit of a mess and a mystery. My family has been slipping away from me and with them go opportunities to learn more about them. So now is my time to sort the puzzle out. I am retired and no more excuses. My thought is that if I track this research via my blog I can organize and record my progress into making sense of who was who, where they lived and where they came from. I am making a commitment to look not only into my maternal and paternal lines but also my husband's. One of the side benefits is that I can see that this research will require some travel, something I am always ready to do. So onward to graves, computer databases, and connecting the dots. Let's see what I can find.
